EnduroSat to Invest About EUR 11 Million, Create 50 Highly Skilled Jobs

The Council of Ministers has approved a memorandum of understanding between the government and EnduroSat for a priority investment project titled Space Development Center and has established an interministerial working group to provide institutional support for its implementation.

The new Space Development Center is planned as a facility equipped with advanced machinery and state-of-the-art technologies for developing a new class of satellites. The company’s investment is estimated at around EUR 11 million and includes the creation of 50 highly skilled new jobs.

The project is intended to expand EnduroSat’s research and development capacity. The government said its implementation would strengthen Bulgaria’s space sector and create new opportunities for highly qualified specialists in space technologies.

All output is intended for export, with the main target markets cited as the EU, the United States, Japan, and others.

Priority investment projects are defined under the Investment Promotion Act as projects of particular significance for economic development or for the country’s regions.
